Directors Receive Distinguished Service Awards

Monday, August 14th 2003 - Wadesboro, NC - Anson Bank & Trust directors Preston Burns, John Crawford, John Potter and Pat Taylor have received Distinguished Service Awards from the North Carolina Bankers Association Board of Directors in recognition of dedicated service to the Banking Industry of North Carolina; John Crawford, John Potter and Pat Taylor were each honored for more than 40 years; Preston Burns was honored for more than 45 years.

The directors were recently honored and presented a certificate of appreciation at an Anson Board meeting by its President and Chief Executive Officer Jim Strayhorn and Board Chair Emmett Patterson. "The dedication of these individuals is exemplary and indicates their commitment to the community banking concept and serving the folks of Anson County," commented Emmett Patterson.
